The 29th Annual National Conference of 100 Black Men of America comprised of 110 Chapters was held in Houston, Texas June 3rd – 7th. 100 Black Men of Omaha Celebrate 20th Anniversary

OMAHA A sold-out gala event took place at the Hilton in downtown Omaha on Saturday night. The group “100 Black Men of Omaha” honored three men, while celebrating 20 years of success. The group, which focuses on uplifting the community by empowering the youth in our area, is attempting to raise $100,000 for future endeavors. The 15th African-American History Challenge (AAHC) was held on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Central High School, 124 North 20th Street Blvd., Omaha, NE 68102. The event sponsored by the 100 Black Men of Omaha, Inc., in partnership with Omaha Public Schools was another success. The Great Plains Black Museum, Cox, Sherwood, and the University of Nebraska at Omaha were contributing sponsors.
